Since 1964, Ranch Hope has been providing behavioral healthcare services to adolescent boys at its Alloway Campus in rural Salem County, New Jersey.
Located on over 120 acres of what was once partially wooded farmland, the Alloway Campus provides 57 boys between the ages of 9-20, treatment and care in a family environment. Referrals are taken for children from throughout the State of New Jersey, allowing for greater family participation and visitation.
The beautiful Alloway Campus includes six residential "cottages" where children are provided with a safe, caring, loving environment to gain confidence to get better and learn skills to become productive citizens. Residents are mentored and supervised by highly trained staff members we call "Houseparents" ensure the children's physical, spiritual, emotional and treatment needs are met. On average, children stay in a residential home between 12 and 18 months.
Did you know that the Alloway Campus also features a Carriage Museum? Some of the most elegant carriages in southern New Jersey from the 18th to the 20th centuries are displayed at the Ranch Hope Carriage Museum. All are beautifully restored.
The Carriage Museum is open the first Saturday of every month from 1pm to 4pm. There is no charge for admission, but donations are accepted.
