Meet Our Chaplain, Fred Ruggiano
Pastor Fred Ruggiano has been faithfully serving at Ranch Hope for more than 17 years and has over 30 years of experience in pastoral care. He strives every day to provide spiritual care to our youth through various outreaches.
Weekly Chapel Services
Sunday Services: Join us on Sundays at 9:30 a.m., for a contemporary, non-denominational, youth-led service in our on-campus chapel. It’s open to the public, and families are invited! Youth lead worship, scripture readings and prayer; Pastor Fred preaches the weekly message.
Wednesday Night Worship: Pastor Fred leads the youth in an Hour of Power through worship and prayer!
*All worship events are voluntary for the youth.*
Weekly Music Lessons
Pastor Fred and other staff members teach interested youth how to play a variety of instruments, including: guitar, piano, drums and bass. These weekly lessons help youth practice their music for Sunday morning services.
Youth are encouraged to express themselves and create their own music during each lesson.
Weekly Staff Book Clubs
Pastor Fred hosts a brief Bible study for staff each week on different topics throughout the year. These 20-minute sessions allow for community building among participating staff.
• Administration Book Club meets on Tuesday mornings.
• Strang School Book Club meets on Wednesday mornings.
*All worship events are voluntary for staff.*
Hope Pantry
Our goal through this mission is to serve our youth, their families and the community during their times of need through food and clothing. We often send food home with our youth during home visits so families can enjoy their time together and not worry about not having enough, especially during the holidays.
We accept donations all year of non-perishable food items as well as clothing for youth (ages 12-18). For more information, please call Pastor Fred at (856) 935-1555 ext. 356.
Summer Retreat
Climb the Mountain Week: This week long challenge is an event designed to encounter and experience Christ through the personal interactions and experiences shared by youth and staff! It involves three hours per day on Monday through Wednesday; overnight camping at Camp Edge on Thursday into Friday, and an overnight trip to the Appalachian Trail, located in Pennsylvania, on Friday morning until Saturday afternoon. Events encourage youth to strive physically, spiritually and emotionally.

Visitations– Friends Village, Woodstown, NJ
Twice a week Pastor Fred and a group of youth go to Friends Village to build community with the residents. This experience teaches youth to learn to connect and build positive relationships with adults outside the immediate Ranch Hope community.
Visitations also allow the residents to be heard and connect with others outside their own community. This is especially valuable to those who don’t have nearby family or friends.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support!

Our Motivating Scripture:
“Those of us who are strong and able in the faith need to step in and lend a hand to those who falter and not just do what is most convenient for us.”
