Behavioral Healthcare Positions

Direct Care Counselor (Alloway or Williamstown locations)  – Provide guidance and mentoring to Residential Treatment Center or Shelter youth. Shifts generally will include second shift 3-11 PM and a minimum of one weekend shift. Responsibilities will include supporting the treatment goals for each youth while supervising them in their daily life activities such as participation in group therapy, recreation, meals, hygiene, outings, etc. Must have a Bachelor’s degree or three years of experience working with youth in an institutional setting. Rate varies depending on education and experience starting at $12 per hour.

Night Proctor – Provide overnight supervision to Residential Treatment Center or Shelter residents. Normal shift is 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM four shifts per week. Rate varies depending on education and experience starting at $12 per hour. Must have a Bachelor’s degree or three years of experience working with youth in an institutional setting.

Allied TherapistFacilitate recreational and therapeutic activities and outings for youth. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field and a minimum of one year experience working with youth. Rate is $14 per hour.

Clinical TherapistProvide contracted clinical treatment services to youth. Facilitate group sessions and family therapy. Assist youth in developing strategies for coping with past trauma and neglect. Must be a certified LAC,  LCSW or LMFT or be license eligible . Start rate is $ 45,000 to $ 55,000 annually.

Miscellaneous Positions

Seasonal Landscaper – This applicant will be responsible for all facets of landscaping at our Alloway Campus to include mowing, planting, weed wacking, tree trimming, etc. Starting at $12.

Thrift Store Manager –Serve as retail store manager at the Cowtown Thrift Store by supervising/scheduling team of staff and volunteers, coordinating donations, selecting and displaying items for sale, resolving customer concerns and ensuring safety and security of the facility. $18 per hour 28 hours per week.

Medical Case Manager – Coordinate well care appointments for youth in program including the scheduling, insurance verification and authorizations for medical visits. Transport youth to appointments. Maintain accurate records for nursing department. Starting at $14 per hour.

Educational / School Positions

Substitute Teacher – Provide classroom coverage in absence of Teacher or Teacher Assistant. Must have substitute teacher certificate. Rate is $95 per day. Hours are 8:45 to 3:15.

Teacher Assistant– Assist teacher with all facets of classroom instruction and management. Provide differentiated support to students in the classroom. Must have a substitute teacher certificate. Rate is $ 20,500 for an estimated 185 day school year and approximately an additional $3,000 for summer session if you wish to work additional hours. Hours are 8:45 to 3:15 school calendar.

Non Instructional Paraprofessional – Provide 1:1 supervision and support to youth. Assist in managing crisis situations. Rate is $ 20,500 for an estimated 185 day school year and approximately an additional $3,000 for summer session if you wish to work additional hours. Hours are 8:45 to 3:15 school calendar.

Intervention Team Member – Candidates will assist in the implementation of our Behavior Modification Program by using the Nurtured Heart Approach to intervene, assist, redirect and resolve conflicts that occur in the school setting. Shadow out of program students as needed. For this position an Associates degree and/or 60 credits from an accredited college is preferred. 6.5 hours per day 10 month position. Starting at $20,000.

1:1 Paraprofessional – Candidates will provide supervision, academic support and crisis de-escalation to youth in a school setting using the Nurtured Heart Approach. This position requires a substitute teacher certification. 6.5 hours per day 10 month position. Starting at $20,000.

Child Study Team Liaison – Provide administrative support to the Strang School Counselors. 12 month position starting at $28,000 per year.

School Receptionist– Provide administrative support to Strang School and serve as receptionist for Strang School visitors. 12 month position starting at $24,800 per year
