Math Teacher

Ranch Hope is currently recruiting a Teacher for our Special Education School located in Alloway. Applicants must have a standard High School Certificate of Advanced Standing in Mathematics and be agreeable to pursuing a special education certification.

As a Teacher at the Strang School you will provide differentiated lessons to assist youth in meeting their IEP goals. You will work with small class sizes and be supported by a Teaching Assistant and on site Behavior Intervention Team. You will support the youth in reaching their treatment goals by utilizing the Nurtured Heart approach to recognize their inner greatness. Salary Range $ 34,000 to $ 43,000



Registered Nurse

Ranch Hope is currently recruiting a full time Registered Nurse to work at our Residential Treatment Center in Alloway. Applicants should have RN license in the state of New Jersey and be available to work Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Position Summary:
Provide nursing care and support to Strang School students during the school day under supervision of a Registered School Nurse.
Knowledge:
· Advanced knowledge in providing nursing care to adolescent patients that have experienced trauma
· Understanding of psychotropic medications
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Programs to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to establish a trusting relationship with youth
· Ability to communicate well with families and
· Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
· Ability to maintain accurate records and business correspondence
· Ability to prioritize work
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to clearly and accurately convey telephone messages
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Support program goals by serving as an excellent and compassionate role model
· Provide as needed triage and care
· Administer pain relief narcotic medication as needed
· Provide triage and referral in response to emergencies for both youth and staff
· Administer immunizations and Mantoux tests
· Assist in responding to and de-escalating crisis situations
· Attend weekly treatment team meetings when appropriate
· Complete appropriate reports to document unusual events
· Send out medical information as requested by agencies
· Obtain substitute school nurse certificate
Education & Professional Experience:
· Bachelors Degree in Nursing
· Three Years Nursing Experience
· One Year Experience working with adolescents
Certifications/Licenses Required:
· NJ RN License
· NJ Driving License

Strang School

  • Substitute Teacher – Substitute Teachers will provide classroom support on behalf of the teacher or paraprofessional. Will use Nurtured Heart Approach to assist students in developing inner wealth, proactively respond to crisis situations and provide students with curriculum support as needed. The rate for this position is $ 95 per day.
  • Teacher Assistant – These school staff work in our classrooms to provide assistance to our teaching staff by helping deliver lesson plans and assisting in managing classroom behaviors. Candidates must have 60 college credits and either a NJ substitute teacher certification or a paraprofessional praxis. The salary for these positions is $18,500 annually.

Clinical Services

  • Therapist – Position Summary: Support the Core Values of Ranch Hope by upholding all standards relating to quality, partnership, integrity, safety, empowerment, stewardship and compassion. Under supervision of the Clinical Director, work with other members of the treatment team to provide clinical treatment to youth. All services provided will promote the emotional, spiritual & social growth of our youth and will emphasize positive, professional role modeling as well as interpersonal relationships.

    Position Summary:
    Support the Core Values of Ranch Hope by upholding all standards relating to quality, partnership, integrity, empowerment, stewardship, safety and compassion. Serve as a facilitator of psycho-educational activities for all youth and families of the RTC program; co-facilitate admissions for youth and provide orientation for all youth and families; facilitate ongoing needs of all assigned youth.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    * Co-facilitate youth admission to the residential program with assigned therapist
    * Responsible for the review and signature of all required intake paperwork at the time of admission; turn all paperwork in to the Admissions Assistant immediately following the admission and file as needed
    * Facilitate family and youth orientation to services immediately following the admission, or within 24 hours of admission when unable to be present for admission
    * Create and facilitate psycho educational groups for assigned youth that are relevant to treatment goals 3/week
    * Create and facilitate both on and off-site family psycho educational activities that are consistent with assigned youth’s identified needs and transition plan at minimum 1/month
    * Maintain a log and progress notes for all groups and activities facilitated for each assigned youth and email weekly to Treatment Services Manager; enter levels of service for each group into shared drive weekly
    * Provide continual care, support and advocacy via weekly individual sessions (30 minutes) of all assigned youth; complete progress notes for all sessions and email weekly to Treatment Services Manager; enter levels of service into shared drive weekly

    Education & Professional Experience:
    * Bachelors Degree with three to five years relevant experience; or
    * Masters level with 1 year of related experience



Residential Alloway Campus

  • Direct Care Counselor – Work with other members of the treatment team to provide direct basic client care, supervision, instruction, behavior modification, recreation and other individual/group services to youth in a structured setting. All services provided will promote the emotional, spiritual & social growth of our youth and will emphasize positive, professional role modeling as well as interpersonal relationships.
  • Night Proctor – These direct care staff also serve in our treatment homes similar to houseparents, but they work mainly during non-awake hours (11PM-9AM). Candidates must be over 21 and have at least one year of work or volunteer experience with youth in a group setting. The starting rate for these positions is between $10-12/hour and there are full time, part time, and on-call schedules available.


Williamstown Shelter

  • Direct Care Counselor – Work with other members of the treatment team to provide direct basic client care, supervision, instruction, behavior modification, recreation and other individual/group services to youth in a structured setting. All services provided will promote the emotional, spiritual & social growth of our youth and will emphasize positive, professional role modeling as well as interpersonal relationships.


Food Service

  • Cook – Prepare and serve nutritious high-quality meals to students and staff. Assist with catering program. Range is $ 13 to $ 16 based on skills and experience.
