Behavioral Healthcare Positions
Direct Care Counselor (Alloway or Williamstown locations) – Provide guidance and mentoring to Residential Treatment Center or Shelter youth. Shifts generally will include second shift 3-11 PM and a minimum of one weekend shift. Responsibilities will include supporting the treatment goals for each youth while supervising them in their daily life activities such as participation in group therapy, recreation, meals, hygiene, outings, etc. Must have a Bachelor’s degree or three years of experience working with youth in an institutional setting. Rate varies depending on education and experience starting at $12 per hour.
Night Proctor – Provide overnight supervision to Residential Treatment Center or Shelter residents. Normal shift is 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM four shifts per week. Rate varies depending on education and experience starting at $12 per hour. Must have a Bachelor’s degree or three years of experience working with youth in an institutional setting.
Treatment Liaison – Facilitate relevant and engaging life skills and group activities for youth and families. Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field and a minimum of three years experience working with youth. Rate is $14.42 per hour.
Allied Therapist – Facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities and outings for youth. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field and a minimum of one year experience working with youth. Rate is $14 per hour.
Clinical Therapist – Provide contracted clinical treatment services to youth. Facilitate group sessions and family therapy. Assist youth in developing strategies for coping with past trauma and neglect. Must be a certified LAC, LCSW or LMFT or be license eligible . Start rate is $ 45,000 to $ 55,000 annually.
Equine Coordinator – Assist Equine Therapist with equine therapy program. Responsible for all facets of medical care for horses/ponies. Feed, groom and care for all Ranch Hope horses/ponies. Schedule veterinarian visits, foot care, vaccinations, dental care etc. and maintain applicable records. Coordinate riding times and maintain applicable records. Maintain and upkeep equestrian grounds to include barn area and pastures. Responsible for as needed mowing and light maintenance. Identified and coordinate larger maintenance projects that could be performed by volunteer groups. Harvest and store hay. Maintain a record of inventory, equipment etc. Candidates should have at least one year of Equine experience. Degree in Recreation, Phys Ed or Behavioral Sciences preferred. Start rate is $ 13 to $ 14.50 per hour.
Substitute Teacher – Provide classroom coverage in absence of Teacher or Teacher Assistant. Must have substitute teacher certificate. Rate is $ 95 per day. Hours are 8:45 to 3:15.
Teacher Assistant– Assist teacher with all facets of classroom instruction and management. Provide differentiated support to students in the classroom. Must have a substitute teacher certificate. Rate is $ 20,500 for an estimated 185 day school year and approximately an additional $ 3,000 for summer session if you wish to work additional hours. Hours are 8:45 to 3:15 school calendar.
Non Instructional Paraprofessional – Provide 1:1 supervision and support to youth. Assist in managing crisis situations. Rate is $ 20,500 for an estimated 185 day school year and approximately an additional $ 3,000 for summer session if you wish to work additional hours. Hours are 8:45 to 3:15 school calendar.
Facilities Maintenance Positions
Temporary Maintenance Worker – Landscaping, custodial work, light carpentry, repairs, etc. $ 14 per hour.
