Ranch Hope and Revive South Jersey are proud to partner together to make a difference for children and families in South Jersey.
About Ranch Hope
Ranch Hope has a 60+ year history of providing services in Salem County for children from throughout New Jersey, with a specific focus on residential treatment services.
About Revive South Jersey
Revive South Jersey was founded in 2012, initially focusing on serving the Spanish-speaking immigrant community in Cumberland County. One key aspect of that service was partnering with the Bridgeton PAL to provide after-school and summer opportunities for kids, along with a positive connection to law enforcement. Today, that program serves over 250 kids weekly through:
- Dance, karate, and soccer
- Art, music, and photography/videography
- Skating and SEL small groups
- Tutoring and mentorship
In 2022, Revive began conversations with law enforcement partners, local organizations, and community members in Salem City to explore starting a similar partnership there.
Expanding Services in Salem City
Through this partnership, Ranch Hope is expanding its ability to serve youth and families beyond Ranch Hope and Camp Edge in Alloway. The initial focus is on addressing the specific needs in Salem City.
As part of this initiative, a Ranch Hope art therapist is working with youth in Salem City, collaborating with program directors in dance, karate, and photography/videography, as well as local law enforcement, to provide safe spaces for youth to process emotions, trauma, and daily life challenges.
Together, Ranch Hope and Revive South Jersey are working to develop additional opportunities for youth in Salem City, leveraging their strengths in:
- Life and job skills training
- Workforce development
- Leadership training
Through this partnership, both organizations are committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of youth and families in Salem City.
